Out west near Davie, a breakdown means a wide shoulder and room to work. Here it's the opposite. Calls come off Wilton Drive between one and three in the morning — a fob locked in a running car, or somebody who got a ride home and needs the car moved before permit enforcement finds it. Five Points is the pinch, where the Drive, NE 26th and Dixie all meet at once.
The side streets are their own puzzle. Those 1950s concrete-block ranches sit on tight lots with cars down both curbs, so a full-size flatbed sometimes can't make the turn. The city's an island in the Middle River, too — a few small bridges in, so we plan the approach before we roll.

Can you get a flatbed down my street?
Usually. If it's too narrow or parked solid, we winch the car out to the nearest open street and load it there.
My car's in a private lot behind Wilton Drive. Can you move it?
With the owner or the keys present, yes. Those lots are private and posted, so tell us which one when you call.
