Getting a truck in and out of the A1A condo strip is its own skill. The oceanfront towers there run gated garages with low ceilings, so a flatbed simply won't clear the ramp — those are wheel-lift jobs, every time, and we send the right truck the first time instead of turning around in a valet lane. On the mainland side it's easier going: Hallandale Beach Blvd, Federal Hwy and I-95 exit 18 cover most of what we get called to. Race nights and casino nights at Gulfstream Park change the picture. Cars sit in that lot long after the retail village closes, and dead batteries at midnight are common.
Seasonal owners are the other pattern. A car parked in a condo garage for six months usually needs a jump, and often a flat-tire tow, the same week its owner flies back in. Guest parking is tight everywhere along the beach, so unauthorized-vehicle calls from property managers are steady work too — and impound release runs happen more here than anywhere else we serve out of Davie.
Working the A1A condo garages
My building's garage is too low for a flatbed. Can you still tow my car?
Yes. We use a wheel lift for the low-clearance garages along A1A, pull the vehicle up to street level, and transfer it to a flatbed there if the trip warrants one. Tell dispatch the building has a gated or low garage and we'll send the right truck.
My car's been sitting all season and won't start. Do I need a tow?
Often not. A car that's sat a few months usually just needs a jump start, and we can test whether it holds a charge on the spot. If the battery's finished or the tires have gone flat from sitting, we'll tow it to the shop you choose.
