Kings Point and the Mainlands keep us busier than any wreck ever has. Those condo villages are full of cars that see maybe two thousand miles a year, and a battery that sits through a summer while the owner's up north comes back dead. Tires go the same way — tread looks fine, but it's dry-rotted from the sun and lets go on the way to Publix. Jumps, lockouts and no-start hookups off Commercial and McNab, mostly.
Getting a truck in is rarely the problem. University, Pine Island and Nob Hill are wide and flat, with the Sawgrass clipping the west edge. The Woodlands is the exception — older country-club streets, mature landscaping crowding the swale, so we size up the approach first. Nights are different work. My car sat all summer and won't turn over. Do I need a tow?
Usually not. Months parked normally means a flat battery, and a jump gets it running. If it cranks without catching, a flatbed to your shop is the cheaper end of it.
Someone parked in my spot in a gated community. Can you take it?
Only if the property has authorized the removal and the signage is in order. Call with the association's instructions and we'll go from there. Tamarac contracts with BSO for police if it turns into a dispute.
